Heres some basics. just practice doing easy beats so u can get comfortable w/ur set. if a beat comes to ur mind go ahead and try to play it. dont get mad if you can't keep time try bobbing ur head up and down to keep beat instead of ur high hat leg(it helps u from getting confused) and just play at ur pace dont try to learn fast cuz u will just get madder. |

Play hard!

If you get tired too quickly try these on 4 size. Sit up straight and don't sit 2 low on the set cuz u use more energy to lift up ur bass foot and keep it going. use both hands to do fast beats on 1 drum duh u know why. Also wear light shoes such as converse or vans slip-ons. don't 4get to kick ass when drumming! |

My name is NO-NO LOOX, and I'm looking for a solid drummer for my band Drag-Strip-Hookers. If you're a m/f drummer living or relocating to NYC and want to play in a dirty balls out PUNK/GLAM/METAL band and really want to do something this may be for you! I'm looking for someone with solid beats and DBL BASS is a plus! But not the most important thing. You should be someone who really wants to do something, and willing to work hard to get there. I want to rehears at least 3x's a week and what ever we can do after that. You should be someone that wants to put on an eciting kind of show. I'm going to great lengths to develope this thing and it's gonna be a lot of fun and real wild! A MOTLEY CRUE show compressed down to a smaller stage. 21+ please, and if you're in your 30's that's fine. Just have some of you looks left. But if not this band requires a ton of makeup. So it may not matter if you look like a fucking pitbull or not. I'm looking for people with a good attitude and easy to work with. But I may be asking a lot now.lol. I have a record in production and it's almost done. (I don't wait around for much.) I'd like to get that stuff down and get going on new songs/recordings and start playing out.

I'm looking for a solid drummer. (dbl bass is a plus) m/f
21+ please, and live in NYC or willing to relocate. Must be able to tour. We will be doing this a lot. This is a PUNK/GLAM/METAL/WHATEVER band. Hard and heavy and just fast enough. The look is a PUNK/BONDAGE/FETISH/ DRAG kind of thing. If you're a guy the makeup is a must. We DO look like a bunch of BUSTED UP HOOKERS! Please no winers/loosers/wimps/flakes/or any of the other shit! Just be a solid and motivated person who is ready to ROCK! I have a record in production now and it's close to done. (I don't wait around for ANYTHING!)We will be rehearsing at least 3x's a week. sometimes 4-5. And getting going on new songs for the next record A.S.A.P!

The more comfortable you are playing the drums, the better you play. I come from a combination of college education and private training, and am comfortable with most styles of music.
